Driving Climate Action Across Global Logistics
Since early 2024, we all had to consider that 2024 could be a turning point for sustainability efforts at global scale. With geopolitical headwind now a reality, more industry leadership is needed to maintain and further strengthen Net-Zero commitments in logistics. At Smart Freight Centre (SFC), we are in close touch engaging with our nearly 200 members, supporting them in navigating this uncertain landscape. Together, we explore how to make a compelling business case for logistics decarbonization as a sensible business proposition, even when geopolitical signals point the other way.
Smart Freight Centre continued to bring logistics decarbonization to key markets around the globe, further building momentum in driving logistics decarbonization in China and India. 2024 saw the launch of our Green Freight Support Program in Eastern Africa, with plans to become active in more geographies of critical size, and significant. These initiatives demonstrate that while the global landscape may shift, Smart Freight Centre remains steadfast in driving logistics decarbonization forward, globally, collaboratively, and credibly.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to turning challenges into opportunities, and ambition into measurable action.
