Through these engagements we educate and inform relevant industry stakeholders about specific themes regarding the decarbonization of logistics.

10 Years of GLEC Framework: Where We Are and Where We’re Going
Freight transportation and logistics activities currently account for around 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and demand for freight transport is expected to roughly double by 2050. Addressing this challenge requires a consistent and credible approach to measuring and managing emissions across global supply chains.
For the past 10 years, Smart Freight Centre has been working with industry leaders to tackle one of the biggest challenges in global supply chains.
The result is the GLEC Framework, the globally recognized methodology for calculating logistics emissions, and a key foundation for ISO 14083.
In this public webinar, we will explore the evolution of the GLEC Framework, from its early development to its role today. We will also hear from industry pioneers sharing their journeys in logistics emissions accounting, highlighting how regional stakeholders are addressing key challenges in the global context, and outline what to expect in the coming years for you and your organization.
