Smart Freight Centre's goal is to mobilize the global logistics ecosystem, in particular our members and partners, in tracking and reducing its greenhouse gas emissions to achieve 1.5° pathways.
Organizations on their journey to freight decarbonization can become a member of the SFC community. Members have access to a wide portfolio of programs and initiatives to help them collaborate to improve their GHG emission performance and supply chain economics. Membership unlocks solutions through several SFC programs, including Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC), Clean Cargo (CC), Sustainable Freight Buyers Alliance (SFBA), Fleet Electrification Coalition (FEC), and Clean Air Transport (CAT).

You become a part of our network on decarbonizing freight transport and logistics.
You can learn from your peers by participating in our online and in-person gatherings, our best practice sharing sessions and our industry-focused discussions.

You can collaborate with like-minded partners across the freight transportation ecosystem to accelerate decarbonization. This includes shippers, logistics service providers, carriers, original equipment manufacturers, NGOs, decarbonization tool providers, civil society organizations, academia, public institutions as well as industry innovators.

Membership types
We offer a two-tiered membership structure: Base and Premium.
- Base Members have access to the GLEC, Clean Cargo, Clean Air Transport programs and to the Global Ro-Ro Community.
- Premium Members have access to SFBA, FEC, and all the programs included in the Base membership.
